With extensive investments in a wide variety of areas, we pursued the future-oriented alignment of our company in a changing market last year as well.
For example, the new package strapping line with squared timber insertion was installed in October 2019 and the vehicle fleet on the production site was expanded by two new forklifts.
In mid-2019 a new safety concept for the band sawing line was developed - the implementation of the conversion is underway. In addition, a “progressive central lubrication system” for the band sawing line was ordered in summer 2019 and will be fully installed by mid 2020.
In order to reduce the dust load when cutting dry wood, a new and more powerful extraction system was installed in the band sawmill in September 2019. Also in September, investments were made in a fully automatic straightening centre for the complete processing of band saws (levelling, straightening and tensioning).
This year we are also moving forward with investments – we will keep you up to date on this.
